Just a simple reflection from my homily this morning. God today calls us to never tire in forgiveness and God never tires in forgiving us. But forgiveness calls us to do more than just forgive a past offense, it calls us to conversion and to heal relationships. This is so true in our relationship with God, he forgives our sins, and he restores us to his friendship healing any broken parts of the relationship with him if we only run to him and allow his healing mercy to flow over us.
