Times of Silence in our busy lives

This morning we hear about the busy day of Jesus, he begins by healing Simon’s mother in law, then he heals many people who came to him and cast out demons. But then it says that he went to a deserted place, but the people continued to look for him when he left. Our lives can get like Jesus we seem to always have to do something, we wake up maybe go to Mass, then get breakfast, go to work, then go home prepare dinner and maybe after some evening TV watching you go to bed. But I believe today’s Gospel calls us to find times to be silent in our lives and to find time to escape and spend time with the Lord in prayer. Despite how busy our lives can become take a chance to spend time with the Lord in prayer today!
